Alpine Special Treatment Center

Alpine Special Treatment Center is a locked mental health rehabilitation and transitional care facility. We provide care to voluntary and involuntary adults with acute psychiatric symptoms and those suffering from co-occurring disorders. Our primary goal is to quickly and safely stabilize and transition individuals from acute care to community placement.  The diagnostic and multidisciplinary program is designed to address the clients’ weaknesses and build on existing strengths.

Addressing the biological, psychological and social needs of the individual allows the treatment team to really determine the best treatment plan and discharge placement for every client. Clients are involved in the decision process throughout treatment. The collaboration between clinician and client in setting goals and effective interventions has proven to be more effective in long term success. Families, legal guardians, significant partners and referring professional are important partners in treatment.

Alpine Special Treatment Center offers the most efficient and cost effective care in San Diego County for mental health stabilization, rehabilitation and transitional care. Alpine Special Treatment Center is staffed 24-hours a day with licensed nursing and specially trained program staff. Our administrative office and support services are available Monday-Friday.
