The program model for Alpine Special Treatment Center can be best defined as Person-Centered and is characterized by the belief that the individual is viewed as a whole, unique, person and has valuable input into the treatment he/she is receiving. This model fosters empathy, empowerment, autonomy, and growth. Alpine Special Treatment Center implements a token economy system to help as well as encourage the individual in taking an active role in their personalized treatment, recovery, and wellness through the use of rewards, incentives, and positive reinforcement. In addition, the individual’s multidisciplinary team works from the date of admission through discharge to develop an aftercare plan. This ensures a successful transition to a lesser level of care upon discharge. Moreover, ASTCI monitors the overall care planning throughout the client’s treatment in order to ensure he/she receive maximum benefit from the services provided. Specific staff coordinates with community support professionals for continuity of care.
