Kristin Allred, MBA

Sr. Vice President of Operations

Kristin joined Alpine Special Treatment Center, Inc. in 1998. She has over 20 years of managerial and operations experience in a mental health facility, including expertise in finance, business operations and management.

As the Sr. Vice President of Operations, Kristin’s responsibilities include leading and developing the administrative function of the facility to provide excellent services. In addition, she contributes positively to increasing organizational revenue and activity through development of a knowledgeable, accountable, responsive administrative and clinical team while demonstrating excellence in both internal and external relationship management.

Kristin actively participates in the development of long term relationships between other healthcare facilities based consultants and external stakeholders by encouraging positive engagement with Alpine Special Treatment Center, Inc. and its services.

Prior to serving as Sr. Vice President of Operations, Kristin worked as the CFO for Alpine Special Treatment Center, Inc., as well as received her Internship for her Master’s in Business Administration. Kristin received a bachelor’s degree in Business from National University, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands. Kristin is licensed in the State of California as a Nursing Home Administrator.

Kristine Tiernan, PHD

Clinical Director

Dr. Tiernan joined Alpine Special Treatment Center, Inc. in 2008. She has over 10 years of mental health experience including expertise in program development through the utilization of multidisciplinary mental health clinicians for supportive, rehabilitative services in a secured setting for people suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse disorders, as well as crisis communication and training for mental health staff.

As Clinical Director, Dr. Tiernan’s responsibilities include management and quality assurance of all clinical (Program and Nursing) services provided by Alpine Special Treatment Center Inc., including the training and supervision of clinical and non-clinical staff.

Prior to serving as the Clinical Director, Dr. Tiernan worked as the Assistant Administrator for Alpine Special Treatment Center, Inc., as well as Assistant Program Director, Psychology Assistant, Program Consultant, Rehabilitation Counselor, and Clinical Advisor for Alpine Special Treatment Center, Inc.

Dr. Tiernan received a dual bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Washington, a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant University, and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University. Dr. Tiernan is currently licensed in the State of California as a Licensed Psychologist, and currently serves as a certified Crisis Prevention instructor for Alpine Special Treatment Center, Inc.

Victoria Klein

Consultant

Victoria joined Alpine Special Treatment Center, Inc. in 1992. She has over 35 years of managerial and operations experience in a mental health facility, including expertise in nutritional services.

As the Consultant, Victoria’s responsibilities include providing overall leadership and coordination activities of all aspects of Alpine Special Treatment Center, Inc., with the objective to ensure that the delivery of client and healthcare service programs are consistent with values, as set forth by the Board of Trustees.

Prior to serving as the Consultant, Victoria worked as the Administrator for Alpine Special Treatment Center, Inc., as well as the Nutritional Supervisor.

Victoria received a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and food science from San Diego StateUniversity, and is licensed in the State of California as a Nursing Home Administrator.
